What is Yowana Kreatif?

Yowana Kreatif is an educational scholarship program specifically designed to help young people aged 18-22 years explore their potential and achieve a bright future. With a full one-year duration, Yowana Kreatif is not just an ordinary scholarship; it is a comprehensive transformation journey that will equip young people with invaluable skills.

This program provides a safe space for young people to recognize their potential, practice awareness of their strengths and weaknesses, making it easier for them to decide what they want to do according to their interests.

Yowana Kreatif aims to provide young people with the golden opportunity to develop themselves in two key dimensions: soft skills and hard skills. Through this program, we are committed to shaping future leaders who excel not only in academics but also have interpersonal skills (social interaction), communication, leadership, mental resilience, and practical knowledge needed in the real world.

1 Recognizing Self-Potential

Without recognizing self-potential and having clear life goals, young people tend to feel trapped in uncertainty, overshadowed by feelings of boredom and stagnation in their routines, unable to see other options they can pursue. Self-development through the Living Values Education (LVE) approach and other soft skills approaches will greatly assist in the process of recognizing self-potential, strengths, setting life goals, and identifying challenges that arise in fulfilling those goals.

2 Communicating with Confidence

In communication, being able to speak alone is not enough. Communication is the process of conveying information. So in communication, conveying information clearly is far more important than just being able to speak.

To address this, the YOWANA KREATIF program provides opportunities to practice communication skills. Young people will be trained to clearly express their opinions or feelings through communication exercises with themselves, in pairs, or in groups. The training methods are derived from the Living Values Education (LVE) and Compassionate Communication approaches. With regular practice, young people's confidence will grow in conveying information clearly when communicating.

Leadership is the key to shaping positive change, and at Yowana Kreatif, young people will be provided with tools and guidance to hone their leadership skills. To support effective growth, we provide space and opportunities for young people to facilitate activities, group discussions, and lead the implementation of simple projects.

Practicing English

In today's era of globalization, the ability to communicate in English is essential to master.

It is well known that English is an international language. Mastering English will boost young people's confidence as they feel more confident in communicating with foreigners. Additionally, mastering English will provide young people with higher opportunities for employment, especially in the global business environment.

5 Learning Basic Computer and Audio Video Editing

Yowana Kreatif also understands that future success is not only determined by social skills but also by technological understanding. Therefore, during this program, young people will be facilitated in acquiring hard skills, particularly in basic computer and Audio Video Editing. These skills not only open doors of opportunity in the academic world but also prepare young people to face the demands of an increasingly digital work environment.

6 Direct Practice in the Workplace

Besides the facilitation process and classroom training, we believe it is very important to ensure that young people know what the work environment is like and what skills are needed to enter the workforce. In this process, young people are also guided to start practicing the skills they have acquired in classroom learning directly in the workplace.

How to Register?

General Requirements

1. High motivation to learn & develop oneself
2. Social awareness
3. Intention to build self-confidence
4. Minimum high school/SMK/equivalent graduate
5. Aged 18 – 22 years
6. Write a motivation letter (minimum 500 words)
7. Pass the selection test

    • Why are you the right candidate for this scholarship?
    • What changes do you want to see after participating in Yowana Kreatif?
    • What contributions will you make to your environment/community?
  • Photo (front view)
  • Photo of ID card
  • Upload the motivation letter, photo, and ID card in the attachment section

The maximum size of each file is 10mb, with the following file naming conventions:

  • Motivation letter: SM_applicant-name
  • Photo: Photo_applicant-name
