Living Values Education (LVE) was first introduced in Indonesia in 2002. Initially, LVE activities were initiated personally by several trainers who had attended training with LVE International. Various LVE activities, seminars, and trainings were then conducted in many cities in Indonesia. Starting from Banda Aceh, Tapaktuan, Jakarta, Bogor, Bandung, Subang, Sukabumi, Yogyakarta, Salatiga, Solo, Kupang, Tabanan, Singaraja, to Ambon and Ternate.
LVE programs and activities are not only carried out in educational environments but also in refugee camps, communities, and other institutions.
On December, 1st 2008, Karuna Bali Foundation was appointed as the representative of the Living Values Association in Indonesia by ALiVE (LVE Association) International. Karuna Bali Foundation served as legal protection, issued trainer accreditation, and coordinated Living Values Education activities in Indonesia.
