Karuna Bali’s Donation Return and Refund Policy

1. Purpose

This policy is established to provide clarity to donors regarding the conditions and procedures for requesting a refund of donations made to Karuna Bali. We are committed to maintaining integrity and transparency in every donation transaction.

2. Nature of Donations

Donations made to Karuna Bali are voluntary and do not constitute the purchase of goods or services. Therefore, refunds are generally not applicable except under specific circumstances outlined below.

3. Refund Conditions

Refunds may only be considered under the following circumstances:

  • A technical error occurred during the payment process (e.g., duplicate transaction, incorrect amount, or system malfunction)
  • The refund request is submitted within a maximum of 7 calendar days from the transaction date

4. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund, donors are required to:

  • Send an email to director@karunabali.or.id with the subject line: Refund Request
  • Attach proof of transaction (e.g., confirmation screenshot, reference code, or bank statement)
  • Clearly and honestly explain the reason for the request

The Karuna Bali team will review the request within a maximum of 5 business days and provide a decision via email. If approved, the refund will be processed through the agreed payment method within 14 business days.

5. Limitations and Rejections

Karuna Bali reserves the right to reject refund requests if:

  • The request is submitted beyond the specified time limit
  • The transaction proof is invalid or unverifiable
  • The donation has already been allocated to an active program and cannot be returned
