Team Building: Challenges, Action, and Collaboration
On August 7, 2026, students of the 1-Year Leadership & Communication Program at CAMPUHAN College Batch 19, and staff of Karuna Bali Foundation, participated in a team-building activity in Ubud area of Gianyar, Bali. The activity was designed to help participants, both students and staff, get to know each other better and build strong connections. It is hoped that this will lay the foundation for strong collaboration rooted in trust, effective communication, and a commitment to continued growth together.
The journey started from CAMPUHAN College, continued to Puri Ubud and Ubud Field, and then returned to CAMPUHAN College on foot. Along the way, the students took on various challenges that encouraged them to interact, work together, and step outside their comfort zones. One such challenge was the “Jejak Kebaikan” (Trail of Kindness), in which students had to interview strangers they encountered. In addition, there were group activities that fostered creativity, courage, and self-confidence, such as “Yel-Yel” (Group Cheers) and “Dance Floor.”
"I feel very happy because my group was able to complete the requested mission. I was also given the opportunity to be the group leader. The most memorable thing for me was the moment of togetherness with the group at Post 2. There, the committee organized games for us, and these games were certainly very exciting and fun. In the end, we were asked to put on a performance. The values of togetherness, teamwork, and mutual respect emerged when we were choosing the performance we wanted to present. We become more confident." - Ni Wayan Nita Anggreni, an LnC 19 student.

The students learned more than just how to complete tasks together, but also how to listen and to understand others’ perspectives. This helps foster empathy and a spirit of mutual support (L’esprit d'corps). More than just a journey to complete a series of challenges, this activity provides a space for students to learn that shared experiences - whether joyful moments of difficult challenges- can strengthen emotional bonds and create meaningful memories.
